The previous Rasegan vs Chidori encounters weren't Wind Style Rasengans, just compressed chakra. If they were Wind Style Rasengans then Naruto would have won in all those clashes since naturally Wind is Lightning's weakness.

But even if it was wind style this time, wouldn't fire counter it. Or wouldn't the wind enhance the Enton Chidori?

It's called PIS. Something that happens a lot in Naruto and i've learned to deal with it recently.

Jk's aside. It really doesn't make sense to me to. Oh well, at least we have the outcome of the fight that I wanted.

Well take this to thought.
Wind beats lightning
Fire is Amplified by wind..

So if a (wind style): rasengan goes against (lighting style): chidori ,with fire style added, it is going to just cause a huge BLAST.

The clash shouldn't have even occured in the first place, since Sasuke with his rinnegan ability should have been able to suck up Naruto's rasengan and strike him with his chidori but Kishi nerfed the rinnegan so Naruto could finally tie with his rival for once. Kishi tried to damage control with Kurama's explanation that Sasuke wasn't "experienced" enough to do this, yet he could bust out 9 chibaku tenseis and solo glance people with ease.

That's what happened.. The attack was enhanced. The attacks collided together and since the attack was enhanced the got there stuff blown the eff off lol

The nerf argument is really not that good of one here because both were heavily nerfed in this fight so it can't be really used as a good excuse for one fighter when it happened to the other as much to...

It's just bad writing man. Him doing the chibaku at such an level was an amazing feat and made me hype as f**k. The "not experienced" stuff was just stupid. I don't mind though tbh. Sasuke is finally happy and Naruto reached his heart after all this years. That was great. The fight was in many ways badly written and PIS to the max. I hope the anime fight will be better.

The rasengan used did not have the wind element added to it. Nowhere does it say that this one was
a Fuuton: Rasengan. Rasengan by itself has no element and is a ball of compressed chakra. Ever since
Naruto used the Fuuton: Rasengan once before he learned to make it into Rasenshuriken, people keep
on getting that confused.

Anyways, it is a rasengan infused with the power of the Kyuubi and Naruto's willpower. It counteracts
with Sasuke's attack. Well actually, now that I think about it, no matter what Kishi will portray them as equals.
Naruto could used odama rasenshuriken in this clash, and Kishi would still make them both harm each other
as equals. Making their rasengan and chidori clash always end in a tie is just a pattern that Kishi will always do.

Rasengan isn't Futon, Enton had no meaning in this clash at all, it was a retarded waste of chakra since it doesn't enhance penetrative power in the way it was manifested. It simply added to the energy explosion which made their hands go off, other than that it had no take in the Chidori vs Rasengan clash.

Amen, brother.

No, he means that when Sasuke used his basic lightning style Chidori Naruto used Rasengan without Wind Style. Otherwise, all of those other times, Naruto would have one.

Rasengan is not a wind release technique, it is a technique that equals the power of chakra remaining. Sasuke probably still had less chakra remaining, so Naruto's Rasengan had more power than the Kagutsuchi enhanced Chidori.

I definitely see where you're coming from, but to be fair... Sasuke used that eye quite a bit in this fight, even to the point of forcing naruto to have kurama gather all available nature energy to match him using all the bijuu's chakra. After they tied, Sasuke's rinnigan started to give out after he used Amaterasu as depicted here:

Then even his Sharingan was giving him problems, as depicted here:

So basically, his Rinnigan was already shut down, and his Sharingan was giving out as he was preparing and doing, that enton chidori to clash with kurama's chakra-infused rasengan.

Where did he get this info from exactly that before he didn't and where does it say he did this time.

I think you're confused here. During, the first VOTE fight and the rooftop fight, Naruto didn't know how to add wind style to his Rasengan meaning that he just used condensed Chakra. Both of those fights, Sasuke's chidori and Naruto's rasengan were relatively even. You mentioned in your thread that they canceled out even when Naruto had wind style, however at the time, he did not.

Wait... HOLD UP... Isn't Naruto's Rasengan enhanced with senjutsu there? He has the last chakra from Kurama who was gathering all the natural chakra he could.

Actually nvm, he didn't have sage eyes lol.

Perhaps the difference between fire/lightning and Wind is negligible

This is not at top of the roof top, this is at the bridge. So after Naruto learned Odema rasengan,RS, Mastered Sage mode. BUT even here it balanced out :)

It doesn't make any sense. Enton+chidori = Kurama rasengan

I don't know, I guess Kurama had a lot of chakra to even this power difference for they could equal yet again.

It really seems that way. I don't mind though.
