[Discussion] Sasuke had a disadvantage? Or Naruto?

Naruto's goal is to survive Sasuke without killing him , Sasuke's is to kill Naruto.

It's easy to say that Naruto's goal was harder to achieve than Sasuke's , that's what I thought at the first time.
But wasn't Sasuke's intent to kill an advantage for Naruto?
Sasuke never stopped attacking Naruto while Naruto was on a defensive mode.
This could be the best way for a Yang master to beat a Yin master , survive his attacks and wait until he is weak to kill him with a kunai.



What is harder:
-Being a Yin master and killing a Yang master
-Being a Yang master and surviving a Yin master without killing the Yin master

As Yang masters have huge life force , they need to be punched harder to die , that could be a disadvantage for the Yin master's goal.
As Yang masters have a huge life force , it may be advantageous for the Yang master's goal that the Yin master won't stop attacking.
If a smart Yang master had fought Sasuke with intend to kill , I bet he would have chosen that "hold back" strategy , given that endurance is one of his strengh.
If you think about it , that's how Hashirama stabbed Madara's back with his sword.


Even if at first sight , it seems that Naruto's goal is harder to achieve , Sasuke seems to have more disadvantages than Naruto for his goal to succeed.

Well your logic works for both ways. If we say that Naruto had the advantage becuase of his chakra then, if he could defeat by being on the defensive, then just imagine what he would do if was to go berserk.

Naruto, fought way longer, used up more chakra than sasuke, took way more beatings, shared chakra. Don't know if the Guy obito and kakashi part took alot of his chakra as well.

They both got healed after Madara soloed them, so their chakras were restored back to full power via the sage, obito, sakura, karin and kabuto.

So it was like they just arrived on the battlefield, with 100% chakra.

Naruto has been fighting for much longer than Sasuke...it may not have been straight but thats for interpertation when shippuden comes out.

That's right. Naruto used more chakra than Sasuke , for a much longer time.And that's a big disadvantage.

I think Yang and life force has something to do with endurance as the most endurant characters are Yang dominant (Hashirama , Naruto...)

Lol you say as if it's easy to teleport such huge entities as the bijuu and all that while you teleport them all together with you. He would be completely drained preety fast.

Both were nerfed to a point but Sasuke is the one who purposely waited and allowed Naruto to do most of the work intentionally letting them exhaust himself to obviously make him weaker for their eventual fight remember Naruto fought the fourth Ninja War a lot longer then Sasuke and expended much more Chakra then he did so in this respect Naruto was at the Major disadvantage due to this tactic used by Sasuke.

They were both healed and had their chakra restored to 100% after the meeting with the sage. No visible damage or exhaustion was present when they reemerged on the battlefield, so there is nothing that suggests that both were not at full power, in fact everything suggests nothing but.
