So defeating a Juubi Jin without plot is not possible.

Obito got TNJ, thats why his sword(Nonobaku) broke because it takes the power from ones will and Obito Started regretting before the final clash.

Madara was not defeated and was simply consumed by Kaguya.

Kaguya was not defeated and was only sealed.

There is no Manga proof that a Juubi Jin can actually be killed. The only way to stop a Juubi jin is either by TNJ or Seal(PNJ).
