Naruto didn't use Wind Release in his rasengan, I have heard this being mentioned a couple of times and i will disprove it
No moron. Wind>Lighting Rasengan would have won causing death to sasuke.

When Naruto Used his Rasengan Here

There are no wind blades
While Futon Rasengan even in its base form has wind blades

The Wind>Lightning argument can't even apply to the scan you showed. Neither element was used. Sasuke used Kagutsuchi, which manipulates Amaterasu's black flames. If Naruto had used a wind technique like Rasenshuriken then it would have only added strength to Sasuke's attack.

There is no damage control when a fight is a tie. So the stupid rasengan nonsense can be considered "damage control" as a last ditched effort for naruto fanboys to try and mock the sasuke fans, but in truth it's stupid, the fight ended how most of us predicted: with both of them down and out.

I think Volk was referring to the fact that some people are saying wind release in his rasengan as damage control because Naruto's Rasengan = Sasuke Kagutsuchi enhanced Chidori,

It's damage control for them because if naruto would have used the wind rasengan, he would have auto lost due to sasuke's flame's spreading even stronger and faster due to the wind. Like I said, it's stupid.

I think Volk was referring to the fact that some people are saying wind release in his rasengan as damage control because Naruto's Rasengan = Sasuke Kagutsuchi enhanced Chidori,

Naruto's kurama enhanced rasengan = sasuke's kagutsuchi enhanced chidori, and as kurama noted, sasuke was not using the rinnigan to its full power as it was still new. So the wind release argument is dumb because of obvious reasons...

Dude, I'm a Naruto fan. If anything, I'd be doing so-called "damage control" in Naruto's FAVOR. I was pointing out that's why Naruto wouldn't use a wind infused Rasengan to beat Sasuke's Kagutsuchi. I'm thrilled to death that Naruto's Kurama-infused Rasengan was able to tie with Sasuke's element infused attack. Don't bash people before you realize whose side they're on.

Lel I was saying damage control referring to OP's quote, claiming that rasengan had wind in it, when it wasn't even mentioned. Trying to make something up, to justify the outcome.

Ignore him. He is just upset that naruto did not defeat sasuke in the physical battle, but the majority of us (sasuke included, who woudla thought) know naruto won the emotional and "what path to choose" battle, which to them both, was the most important. Sasuke even began to cry, laying there with his best friend. That is one of the best, if not the best, results of a long emotional and physical battle that ended up with both drawing and koing each other if I ever seen one.

My apologies, I did not realize that.

Agreed. The choosing of paths has been a major part of this manga in my opinion. It is important that the right one be followed. Naruto had to at least tie with Sasuke in order to win the battle of ideals.

I completely agree. Naruto and Hashirama's path is ultimately the more diplomatic and peaceful way to go, which in turn, someone should at least try it, and Sasuke, like Madara, sees that now. I also like the fact that Sasuke at long last, shared his thoughts of why he was always being a price to naruto and to why he acted so superior a lot of the time: he was scared to let anyone in.

So we really got some closure with that.
