Sasuke didn't say he lost the fight because he didn't, they both are at e equal terms right now. He's saying he's lost the overall battle, He didn't kill Naruto and get the revolution he wanted. So basically he lost the "war" But the battle is a draw.

I thought sasuke took kurama chakra?
I thought fire was stronger than wind according too the chakra nature wheel.

Kishi contradicted his own story with this but at the end of the day it's his manga. Also instead of having sasuke do amaterasu why not have him use the rinnegan to teleport behind Naruto and ends it all? Naruto didn't have anymore senjutsu so he wouldn't sense it.
