People here at NB tend to forget things...
Things like... Everyone but Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi and Sakura is currently unconscious and dreaming inside the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
And no one will ever get to know that Sasuke and Naruto ever had this fight... If team 7 decides to keep it a secret.
Everyone will respect all 4 of them, see them as the saviors of the whole NarutoVerse, if they decide to keep this final fight a secret that is...
No one will ever know that Sasuke wanted to kill the bijuus and the 5 kages, hopefully

That doesn't mean they'll forgive him of his past crimes, Shikamaru said himself he won't turn Sasuke away if he wants to help but he won't acknowledge him. Other K11 members like Kiba, Choji, and Shino all treated Sasuke as an enemy still. Kakashi even viewed Sasuke an enemy when he first returned saying they need to talk later then saw Sasuke do all of this. Temari said those Akatsuki hurt won't keep quiet so Sasuke is viewed as an international criminal.
Doesn't matter if he helped, the current war was started by Akatsuki and Sasuke was Akatsuki who helped them out. As far as anyone is concerned he only didn't want to end up in IT himself which is why Orochimaru helped but they're not going to forgive Orochimaru for his crimes are they? If Sasuke didn't join the war then he wouldn't have gotten the Sage's powerup so he would be under IT too while Naruto gets the full power of the Sage which is both body and eyes of the Sage as Madara put it.
