Never buy an Alienware in your life! ASUS would be a great alternative.

yall know that alien is dell right ? t_t

Yeah and some of them are saying 'no dell'. Lol. Alienware is so overpriced though.

I had a dell for a while, it was okay. I've got a hp now and I miss my old laptop - windows 8 has made a few of my games unstable. If you're playing older games, you might want to check if they're compatible with windows 8.

ok let me tell you that alienwares are over rated,
buy a lenovo g505s, dos version with 8 gb ram, 2 gb graphics and 1tb hdd
....extras
get win7 64bit
for the overheating problem of amd get a good working cooling pad
all will be in your budget

Alienware is okay. However, its very overpriced. Stay away from apple. Overpriced and underpowered for gaming. Razer can be costly too. MSI is another good company, but their beefy products can be pricey. ASUS and Lenovo are decent entry level gaming laptops. I have a Lenovo Y510p and it works well for games. Personally, I'd recommend the Lenovo Y50. Its got an excellent GPU, up to 4k screen, nice Intel processor, etc. Ultimately its up to you to spend the money, but I'd recommend buying a solid state drive to go with your laptop. Hope this helps. -KN
