"Astonishing" Finale | 44 Pages

Not really a news, but this year's 49th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine is announcing on Saturday that the "astonishing" finale of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga will be two chapters long in the following issue on November 10. In addition, the second chapter will be in full color. In all, the 50th issue will publish 44 pages.

If there truly is no part 3, then this is a true last hoorah... the best manga of our generation may be ending, and it truly is hard to believe if it is true. This manga brought so many together and allowed many to meet people over forums and etc, that previously had no kind of similar interests, but this manga changed it all, so if this indeed is goodbye to the manga, then I truly welcome the true finale of this, but if this is just a end to the shippuden era, I honestly welcome one final piece to this masterpiece ^_^

@bold You're joking right? One Piece is about 100x better than Naruto. Just the writing alone is so superior, not counting everything else. Same with HxH.

I know this sounds picky, but only 44 pages for a conclusion? Maybe I've been spoiled by other manga, like Kenshin where the ending was 80 pages and had another 40 that focused around a secondary character and wrapped up the series, but I thought there'd be more.

C'mon guys I love Naruto but the best manga of our generation? No. Naruto is one of my personal favorites but in my opinion One Piece is generally better written. It has yet to feel rushed and has so much more to give.

Naruto did have something special about it missing from other similar manga. The philosophical themes and such. I think kishimoto was in a hurry to finish it and as a result the final product will suffer.
