Fairy tale good?

Hey so i considered watching fairy tale but i have some questions:

1) I here its kinda ecchi (sexual). Like.. to what degree? Whether or not i watch depends. I don't wanna watch if its like a hentai, but i can deal if its juts some fanservice. But is it just the way people dress etc? or are there actually sexual themes in the plot? And is their nudity? because my younger brother wants too and he's too young for that

2) Is there a ton of filler? Like, how different are the anime and manga, should i prioritize one over the other?

3) How consistent is the plot? Does it have HUGE peaks and lows like naruto?

4) Whats something i should know going in.

1. Yep, there is a lot of ecchi, really close to nudity at times.

2. Not really. There might be and I just didn't realize it though.

3. It's consistent I guess.

4. It's pretty silly. There is a lot of comedic relief/ecchi and friendship power ups.

It's one of those things that you love for no reason at all.

Fan-service is honestly pretty mild. There are almost no ecchi situations but some characters do have outfits that are a bit revealing. Besides a few occurrences that's it.

I don't know about filler but I read the manga, then watched fights animated.

Plot is consistent, I don't know of have any holes. If there are you'd have to really nitpick.

Don't know about this last question. There's a lot of friendship power-ups.

The fan-service is really overblown, there are almost no sexually explicit situations and if there are it's for comedy. The characters are not drawn is sexually explicit ways as opposed to say High School D X D or Love Ru. And why would it even be a problem.

1) There's Tons of Fanservice and Nudity (in some cases)

2) There's not that much filler but I believe there's one filler arc that's about 20 episodes

3) The Plot is not as consistent as Naruto however it does have some peaks (e.g Tower of Heaven arc and Tenroujima arc)

4) IMO The series starts out really good however I felt like the characters weren't really progressing and that the plot didn't really expand. There's a lot of comedy compared to Naruto. ......There's No Blood and there's never a Dire situation.

I use to read it then stopped because the guild members never lose. I've picked it back up again and it's gotten good again. The plot is inconsistent but so is Naruto and I read that. I wouldn't even put it in my top 20 manga excuse of the fan service even though people overexagerate how bad it is, the nakama power, inconsistent plot, and most important is the massive ripoff it is of One Piece and is so much worse. I like Natsu, Sting, Gildarts, Rouge, and Gajeel but that's mainly it

1. Fan Service is a little over the top at times, but it really isn't as bad as people say. There is absolutely NO hentai.

2. Hardly any filler, in fact there is only one filler arc in the series(not including the current one.

3. Plot is pretty good, though it has some lows.

4. Fairy Tail is very big on family and friendship.

Definitely give it a shot at least.

Answer those 4 please

1. it has fanservice but people massively over exaggerate it, it's not hentai by any means

2. you can easily skip filler, just google a list of fillers

3. it has its ups and downs but if you like part of it you'll like most of it

4. what you should know is that FT is just a fun manga, it's fun and that's pretty much it, it's funny, has some ok characters and some good action, if you get into it get into it knowing it's a simple lighthearted manga you should just enjoy and not take too seriously, it has a fun story but isn't as complex as, nor it the world as expansive as in, for example, One Piece

"Massive rip off of One Piece" surely you can provide actual reasons without listing shonen tropes that existed before One Piece was even published right?

A lot people keep overrating the fanservice... The only time it's gone overboard was Chapter 355 and 327
