Novel to ship two days after premiere of the movie


Jump j Books began listing a novelization of The Last -Naruto the Movie- on Tuesday. The novel, written by Maruo Kyōzuka, is slated to ship on December 8, two days after the release of the movie.

Jump j Books describes the story:

The moon has begun moving closer to the Earth! As it is, the the moon will crumble and meteorites will rain down on the earth's surface. As the last days of Earth approach, Hanabi Hyūga is abducted by a mysterious man in Konoha, and Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Shikamaru, and Hinata set off on a rescue mission! Can Naruto and the others overcome this crisis?
The Last -Naruto the Movie- will open in Japanese theaters on December 6, and it will be the first Naruto film in two years. The film is also part of the larger "Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project" (Naruto's New Era Opening Project) marking the 15th anniversary of the original manga. Manga creator Masashi Kishimoto is credited with the original story, character designs, and chief story supervisor of the film. In particular, he is drawing new designs for the title character in the movie, as well as for other characters. Tsuneo Kobayashi (The Twelve Kingdoms, Emma: A Victorian Romance, Kurokami The Animation) is directing the film, and Sukima Switch is contributing the main theme song as well as voice-acting ninja characters.

The manga series will end on November 10. A stage play will open in Tokyo next March.

This is what makes me think there will be a part 3. Like if you think about it, this screams out that there will be another part of the series which will be included in the start of the new Era.

Thanks for sharing I'll definately going to buy a novel if it's going to release in north amercia anytime sooner before the movie release. I'm dying to know what's going to happen in the movie since the Hyuga arc sparks my interest especially with Hanabi got kidnap was totally surprising because I never thought Hanabi of all people will be relavence in the movie, that was totally unexpected, I'm really curious to learn more about Hanabi and how she's grown since we never seen her in shippuden.

Chapter is coming out early tomorrow and then we have double chapters next week to end it off there.

None of the other novels have ever been published in the U.S. You can order a book from Japan but then you would have to get it translated.
