That would be a terrible outcome, seeing as I said before he hasn't shown any sealing capability or the ability to use Mokuton. We also don't know that Ashura had Mokuton. It could be a very rare Kekkei Genkai, like the Shikotsumyaku.

Sasuke being able to use Preta Path isn't hard to accept. Nagato and Madara were able to use it. It's a Rinnegan ability.

He has the key to the seal. He can open and close it whenever.

But we are talking about two different seals here. The key was to the Eight-Trigrams Sealing technique Minato originally used. The new seal Naruto used on Kurama was the Torii Seal which currently is a seal only Naruto knows. If he created a new seal from the same key or however he obtained the Torii seal, wouldn't that count as having a sealing technique or showing sealing capabilities?

The S06P explained that the way to undo IT is to have both the Rinnegan and the Biju Chakra that resides inside Naruto together forming the Rat Seal in order to undo IT not with the Clash of Seals like was predicted a while back

Yes this is true. Most likely naruto will TnJ sasuke because naruto needs sasuke rinnegan to undo IT unless naruto takes sasuke's eye but that won't happen because sasuke is shown with the rinnegan in the movie sketches.

Yup but it's hard to see something like that happening with only two chapter's remaining though it's still very possible but I think the only way TNJ will work if Naruto makes Sasuke accept he's stronger then he is if TNJ is to work

Even if sasuke realizes he's weaker, he'd still would want to kill him. Naruto has to make him see that his ideals are wrong. Something like that...
IIRC Indra lost the rights to be successor of ninshuu to ashura. Even after that, black zetsu tempted him and he carried on that resentment for a long time because he thought his way to peace was the right way. That's why the brother's feud is still going on till this day
