Basically, I finally realized, Indra has got to be the most butthurt character in the entire manga. Seriously, dad picks younger son over him, throws a tantrum and tries to kill his brother, gets his ass handed to him, and decides to continue throwing that same tantrum for eternity. I mean, Uchiha are automatically butthurt from their Curse, but, then you got Indra's undead ass going and making people like Madara and Sasuke completely balls to the wall insane. And then poor Ashura's soul never gets rest because he has to go throughout history playing the role of the eternal babysitter for he eternal baby.

It's funny, Indra's legacy of butthurt got so extreme, one of his incarnations went so far as to enslave the world, even Hago mentioned he'd figured the butthurt would reach such epic proportions. Basically, Indra is the biggest butthurt crybaby in the entire manga, his descendants were all born predestined to be insane just because they were directly related to him, and every incarnation he had would go totally nuts, Indra, so wrapped up in a temper tantrum to even just friggin die and move on, puff, what a crybaby.

It was a misunderstanding on Hagoromo's part. As well as the interference of Black Zetsu. What Indra did was understandable.

Black Zetsu just took advantage of Indra's arrogance. It could happen to anyone. Hagoromo and Ashura are equally responsible for Indra's behavior tbh.

Well Sasuke is about to redeem himself, that much is for sure. Indra was mislead just like Obito was by Madara and Sasuke by Itachi.
