Here's my guess:
-By the time this movie takes place, Sasuke is 50% good, but only to Naruto. He doesn't care about anybody else.
-That shot of Hinata and Naruto standing near each other may be them having a conversation about Hanabi, Naruto is saying "I don't want you to get hurt, I'll save her myself" and Hinata's just like "ohhh.. Naruto-kunn"
-Naruto leaves to go save Hanabi and entrusts the protection of the village or Hinata into Sasuke's hands. Sasuke is to make sure nobody comes after him.
-Naruto finds villain and Hanabi, Naruto tells him to let her go, villain refuses. He reveals his past, and his connection to the Hyuga, how he is the direct reincarnation of Hamura but doesn't carries a different will. He tells Naruto he witnessed the fight of him and Sasuke vs his mother. He was the silhouette of the man standing on the cliff in chapter 682 as Naruto tries to heal Obito.
-He reveals he had been stuck inside his mother's dimension but was finally free after they defeated her.
-They begin fighting, and Naruto is losing for most of the battle.
-Sasuke shows up and tips the scales. Naruto and Sasuke fight together and they start taking the lead. Eventually they corner him and hit him with their most powerful attacks; Yin and Yang RS and Indra's arrow. Villain is on the verge of death but performs a Bansho Tennin on a massive scale on the moon.
-He tells them that the moon is on a collision course to hit the earth in 30 minutes.
-Sasuke tries to use shinra tensei to push the moon back into orbit but ultimately fails.
-Nearing the end of the movie every shinobi in the village as well as all the tailed beast give Naruto their chakra. Naruto also collects all the nature energy left in the village. He transfers it to Sasuke and Sasuke tries to use a Shinra Tensei again.
-It slows down dramatically but keeps going, he then changes seals and uses Chibaku Tensei on the moon. The force of the rocks hitting the moon make it stop.
-Villain explains why he did what he did, tells them it's not over, more threats even greater than him will appear in the future.
-Naruto looks at Sasuke and tells the villain they'll deal with it when the time comes.
-Time skip to a few years in the future. Sasuke is soaring with Susano'o through the skies with the silhouette a woman behind him, the wind blows and you can see that her hair is pink.
-Final shot is a shot of a pregnant Hinata holding her stomach and smiling at the white cape of a man. The man puts on the noble hokage hat, on the top of it, it says "7th Fire shadow" and the shot lowers down to show Naruto's eyes.
