There's still a possibility of him losing though, Naruto is too soft. He wouldn't have the guts to finish Sasuke off (if ever he's found in that situation) which would most likely lead to Sasuke being in the best position. :|
Honestly, it'd be a big cliche if he completely turned the battle around and became all of that which you just mentioned.

The reason things are cliché is because they keep happening.

Just because its "too cliché" doesn't in any way mean it likely won't happen, actually that means it is even more likely to happen.

Particularly in a manga, which is famous for being a stereotypical Shounen manga.

While my personal hope is that next chapter we have Naruto grab Sasuke's wrist and an extensive struggle between the two of them, the most likely thing is that it is a Shadow clone or something simple and cliché.

Why has everyone been riding sasuke these days? I mean the haters make more threads then the actual fans themselves like why? You don't even see any other threads about other characters anymore, every other thread is a sasuke thread. It's threads like this that make me miss hiruzen prime threads and I HATED those threads but even they're more amusing then this. Naruto fans keep ruining such a good battle V.V just enjoy it sheesh we don't need anymore of these threads next chapter is in four days save your stuff for then.

Speaking of cliché, I would like to make a bet that next chapter we get the "I will never give up" speech.

Kishi was laying the ground work with this chapter with Sasuke questioning why Naruto wouldn't fall, he did the same thing with Pain and Obito.

Sorry off panel clones are bull and just deal with it.

Lets examine fight vs kakuzu. All the clones nardo was shown to make got owned but then few more just jumped from the sky. Like wtf is that? Neji fight also good one example of BS.

Another example is in this fight where BSM clone got owned fell down but later was shown to be beneficial. Good writing

Kishi can always write his ass off with off screen clones from any situation like that and this what makes it bullshit.

Yeah, the thing is, it doesn't HAVE to be that Sasuke kills Naruto or even defeats him at that moment, the same way it doesn't HAVE to be that Naruto completely avoids or has a clone sneak attack him. Is it possible? Yeah, but it'd also be lazy writing. I have some hope Kishi will do something different. People here, they're two close-minded, look for more than just these possibilities, expand your thinking a bit.

The only thing chidori does is kill the last time I checked. Yeah Naruto can regenerate stuff like this on a regular day but he isn't looking too good. But I agree that it probably won't be a clone feint. I think Kishi has something better than that for us...

Not that he would apply it here, but Sasuke can use his Chidori to just electrocute, rather than pierce.

Can you please show scans, because from what i remember Naruto made the clones again after they were destroyed.

Also what was wrong with the clones against Neji, I thought that was pretty perfect.

You should also know that Naruto can use transformation tech on his clones so clones that suddenly appear shouldn't be a surprise to you.
