Your title and your own writing said " Who can truly solo the Akatsuki ", which means Guy doesn't need to win, either he dies or not he will still solo Akatsuki. Look how Guy made Madara turned into half while in Juubi mode. Most Akatsukis members would have get beaten. One strike from each Evening Elephant kills Akatsuki.

Look at my rule 3, it states clearly that said person should be able to beat all the Akatsuki at once. Even if Guy manages to beat everyone (which I don't think he could) Obito could just keep phasing or go to kamui dimension and wait out 8 gates.

What kind of argument was that? If Obito hides in the Kamui world, it means Obito lost, and Guy won. It is just like when Kakashi was hiding and waited for a moment to kill Obito back then while every shinobi, Naruto, Sasuke, Edo Hokages did all the work for Kakashi, and yet he just arrived and kill Obito for himself.
If Obito goes to the other dimension, it counts as a lost.. Deal with it.

Okay you may see it as a loss but in some cases its battle strategy. But this is broad how is he going to tag Obito in the first place?, also how is he getting past all those attacks of the Akatsuki?.

Hehe yeah, I think as of now the only one having even a slight chance would be edo Madara.

Well Naruto Solo'd 6 paths before he could controll Kyubi chakra and for a majority of the fight, Sage Mode. So I'd say BM Naruto, and 8 Gates Gai. And yes, Gai would Solo them before he dies.

I don't think it would be that easy, the Edo Mady has unlimited chakra, invanerable he can make 25 susano, posibly more to keep up with them.

BM Naruto maybe (50/50). But not Guy. He is not getting past all those attacks, Obitos phasing, and hell Obito can even BRF him to Kamui land for him to waste the gates there and die.
