Hence why sasuke's EMS susano is more menacing and stronger then MS susano and why the ameterasu is deadlier while sasuke has EMS than MS. The rinnegan arguably augments sasuke's sharnningan abilities as well in the case of ameterasu sasuke needs massive concentration and chairs to make it incredibly deadly otherwise a lack of concentration leads to weak flames. Also as many fans call it sasuke gains the ability to suppress those weaker then him or susceptible to his power I.E the tail beast. Basically the EMS is an augmentation of sasuke's abilities
