Naruto and Sasuke both stop.

From the top of the waterfall the mysterious figure stands with his arms crossed.

*a dark figure approaches in the distance*

*prime hiruzen rolls up on a motorcycle with the song the king is back playing in the background*
Kakashi : W..where are naruto and sasuke??

It seems to me that at this point this would be the most plausible ending
