You can se on one of the panel's in lates't chapter that Naruto's hand's are in water and touching the ground because water is not deep , now my theory is that tree will start growing in front of Naruto because of strong Ashura's chakra and that will be wood style earth+water+ashura's chakra and that will save Naruto and explain why sasuke's head has bandages , because he fall from high three.
