I was thinking about Itachi and how he understood Hashirama and his will more than anyone else. There was also Shisui and his father who also inherited that Will of Fire. It seems that the Uchiha, despite their "curse", were actually prone to the Senju way.

This could be the very reason why Indra's will always fails against Ashura's because of Ashura's minor "interference" in Uchiha clan.

Now, imagine if a Senju inherited Indra's will and was prone to his ways. It would mean literal destruction of the world, in my opinion. If Hashirama, for example, inherited Indra's will or something along the lines of that, the hatred cycle would rule the world. Also, we'd probably see a lot more power from a Senju that way.

Probably. But in hypothetical sense without plot restrictions, Indra would probably succeed with more chances in a Senju than an Uchiha.

Nagato who is an Uzumaki-relative to senju who are descendents of Ashura was consumed by hatred.

He was converted and easily controlled because of the curse of hatred.

Yeah, also thought of that but didn't include it because he was controlled by an Uchiha. He was consumed by hatred, not the actual "ambition" or "spirit" of Indra.
