remember the Kunai Naruto had in his mouth when he fist went Rikudo mode, whatever happened to it? did he use it already? I can't remember.

Well Yang Kurama must have known how it works being inside Minato and all, plus there was Kushina's chakra inside Naruto during that time he could by chance have learned it from them off panel perhaps. Though you are most likely correct and he just doesn't know it.

A Shame really. Could you imagine how cool it would have been to see Uzumaki S/T jutsu VS Uchiha S/T jutsu? Epic!

He dropped it when Madara attacked him and Sasuke. Only way Naruto would even know how to use it would be if Minato told a Yin Kurama how to do it since he was already planning on giving Naruto Yin Kurama and Naruto learned the chakra transfer jutsu from Yang Kurama during the war when we know Minato used it before as well. For now, I'm siding with Minator's thread where it explains that being a clone since the real Naruto had the chakra cloak around him and when Naruto made the hand sign to make clones, it didn't show the clones then when Sasuke looks down from the pain of his eyes, we see 4 Naruto's. It wouldn't be the first time Naruto trick Sharingan and Rinnegan users.

If Kishi wants it to happen, it's gonna happen, that's all there is to it. It doesn't matter if he's out of chakra, if Kishi wants it to happen in the final fight then you can bet there will be a series of events allowing it. The fact that Naruto picked up one of the FTG kunai and didn't just put a regular kunai in his mouth is a very possible indication that he's capable of using FTG. So no this isn't a shit thread, it's entirely possible, especially now.

I highly doubt Naruto being able to pull a kunai and throw it before Sasuke is able to hit him with Chidori from this close range. Also, he doesn't have sufficient chakra.

If he can use FTG then he could've easily already set up kunai or marked a location with his hands during the scuffle. I also don't know why people are making such a fuss about the chakra, there are a billion ways the plot could take a turn to give naruto extra chakra, especially if clones are currently still at play.
