This battle was very satisfying. With all the hand to hand combat, rudimentary skills, and perfect ratio of flashbacks, I can now happily let the manga end.
But what really did it for me was this panel:

I just noticed this after reading it a second time. Naruto is now finally able to form a rasengan in his base form with only one hand and without a clone! Not sure why this made me soo happy :D

^I believe he was referring to being able to form it in base mode, whereas that picture shows Naruto
forming it in SM.

Regardless, it was rather obvious that Naruto could do such a feat easily. The only thing that makes it remotely impressive
would not be doing it in itself, but doing it when he was so exhausted to the point where he tripped over a rock.

Sage Mode has absolutely nothing to do with creating a Rasengan with a single hand. Even Sage Mode, KCM, and Bijuu Mode Naruto had to use two hands.

Kiskimoto made Naruto trip which was good comedic break up but everyone knows if it would have hit Sasuke at that point it was curtains end of fight.

I don't think it would have been possible since he couldn't even form a chidori and plus he was losing chakra so how would he been able to pull off such a strong move with almost lil to no chakra? He had to use his supposed " special move" with his Rinnegan to drain Naruto of some of Kurama's chakra.

It's always good to see him do it again after having to always use a clone for so long just show's how far he's come since first learning that technique.
