That was the boom sfx on the ground was Naruto's clone disappearing. Naruto and Sasuke were in the air

in order for naruto to receive the senjutsu chakra however, the clone must disperse first as it did during his pain fight. even though there was no panel to show it disperse we can assume it did or Naruto would never have receive the nature chakra.
