No you take away all Madz goudamas and put him in a scenario that gai was in like he doesnt do anything but block Hashirama would whack him aswell also Madara says gai is the strongest he fought taijutsu wise the only other person Madara fought that was stronger than him is hashirama meaning he believes Hashirama is stronger than gai. Stop living in denial. If guys main objective is to kill his opponent and he accomplishes it then its a victory for him. Even if he dies afterward, he still accomplished his mission and killed his opponent.
