I would say coby is equal in strength to VA's like Smoker, maynard and Bastille.

I always believed that the only reason coby is a captain in marines is because Akainu became the Fleet Admiral. If it had been Aokiji he would have been a Vice admiral for sure.

Also with people like Vergo, Smoker, Garp, Momonga, Aokiji and Akainu all been in the VA ranks at some point in time, I would like to see Luffy, Zoro and Sanji beat one first.

Can I remind you that none of the strawhats ever even beat a single vice admiral ? So instead of assuming, let's see it first because there is a big fluctuation in powerlevels within that rank. From weak shits like Maynard and Bastille to guys like Garp and Akainu.

Smoker is above Sanji it's not debatable Smoker had a far more impressive showing against Vergo and his aim wasn't to win, Smoker is clearly monster trio level otherwise he wouldn't be pitted up against the strongest characters Law, Vergo, Doflamingo etc...

I'm not underrating Coby at all I'm just saying Coby being Smoker's level isn't likely and until Coby shows feats your wrong it's simple.

Completely agree only idiots think Coby is that strong and are getting caught up with the hype as usual not surprisingly it's the same people who say Luffy could solo Doflamingo.

Also remember that episode of Luffy isn't even canon not to mention Coby did nothing that impressive that none of the monster trio or Smoker couldn't do.

I dont know what his EoS power level will be. I wouldn't be surprised if he was stronger than Smoker though, given his legendary teacher.

But I would not be okay if he went from running at full speed into Luffys fist, to competing with guys like Vergo and Law. That just wouldn't be right. At the end of part 1, he was way inferior to Luffy. He shouldn't come back near his level, especially given that every second of Luffys timeskip was spent on training, and Coby still had unrelated duties to handle, that wasn't necessarily training.

Which is why I say he should be around Franky level. Right after M3.
