It's never mentioned if Minato is Senju or not. Therefore there is no scan proving he is Senju and there is no scan proving he isn't.
Until it is stated in the manga that he is Senju, he isn't. That's how it is.

We don't know how much time there is between Ashura and Hashirama.
If Ashura had 2 sons , Uzumaki and Senju , it's true that in 1000 years , their descendance could be called distant relatives.
What is problematic is Mito/Hashirama , I would like to think to another possibility than that.
