Dodge bullets?

Are his eyes fast enough to perceive where the shot will go and dodge effectively? Would he have time to switch places with it? Or are bullets just too fast?

If your talking point blank range? His eyes would perceive the danger but his body won't be quick enough unless he can move faster then the speed of sound or in most cases with bullets 2 times the speed of sound.

The reason for this thread was that I was just wondering of how fast he was relative to something almost instantaneous, because many times has it said, or implied that sasuke is rediculously fast. I wanted to know if it was possible or if he could even have the reaction times to match it.

Yes.

His eyes would be able to perceive when the person was going to pull the trigger before they even did it. Even if the bullet was instantaneous, he could move right before the shot is fired.

Dude i don't know about the manga, but do you know, how fast the most bullets are really going..?! Super sonic bullets are only coming from large and very large guns...

As for his eyes seeing the bullets...yes they should be able to track them. (Kakashi could track some of the strikes from the tiny blades of rasenshuricken and sasuke could see nano bombs)

actually he shouldn't even have to waste energy dodging bullets...Just deflect them with a Kunai.

remember Kunai or anything really could be reinforced with chakra flow.

what stops him from simply destroying the bullets with lightening chakra flow...or making them stick to his kunai/deflect them with normal chakra flow...

a common mistake people make is trying to limit Naruto characters by the standards of real-world people.

so again i'll reiterate, I am not an anime character, nor do i have any kind of magical powers=D

The most popular rounds are actually 7.62 and 5.56. I haven't heard of 7.66mm but it may be a special or something.
