Only Shikai makes Kenpachi stronger than Byakuya now. And I bet Byakuya has some new tricks up sleeves, he easily defeated 3 stern ritters recently. Not even going Bankai. His speed might have greatly improved too and that's an area where Ken chan is lacking compared to Byakuya. Not saying he would win anainst shikai Kenpachi but it would a rough fight

Lol I'm pretty sure it was depicted plenty of times in the manga and anime kenpachi zaraki was one of the strongest captains ever and they needed his power in order to tip the battle in their favor

Lol no Byakuya basically beat 5 Quincy at once without the use of bankai an he did not break a sweat while doing so,an it's not clear if zaraki has bankai yet so is he stronger than Byakuya we don't know.

They both took out multiple Sternritter and are both very powerful, I like em' both but you need to take Kenpachi's beef out your ass. Neither stomps neither, it would be a very good fight and I don't know who'd win. If Kenpachi were to go to the Royal Palace and sit at the Hot Spring with Kirinji... The female knights would be into the pavement after he put in work on Gremmy and he'd still be out wreaking havoc.

I don't think the hotspring makes you stronger it just heals you back as good as new...but yea it's hard to tell who's stronger at the moment.

The self proclaimed strongest stern ritter. Bach's lieutenant is obviously stronger.

As Nodt would give Gremmy a run for his money since his ability would just make him shits on himself and have his abilities go havoc. And that meteor aint got nothing on Byakuya, he would just shunpo away. He's much faster than Gremmy too if you didn't notice. That space attact ? Avoided by shunpo. Byakuya can use senbon zakura more efficiently now (the stern ritter even told he had ''new tricks'' ) He can keep the pressure on Gremmy while defending with senbon zakura. Oh and lasly, Byakuya managed to break As Nodt's blut with his shikai before

kenpachi defeats 3 SR while byakuya was getting solo'd by as nodt and gremmy>as nodt hence why more SR cared about Gremmy going crazy than when As Nodt went crazy. Gremmy's only weakness was himself

Nnoitra stated he had the strongest Hierro out of the Espada which is true, Barragan is easily the strongest in terms of ability, Ulquiorra V2 in terms of raw power.
