Reason why the Juubi and White zetsu could use Mokuton

Its actually simple why the Juubi could use Mokuton. Its first form ever was the Shinjuu tree. Being a tree it was made of wood and could use its wood in juubi form to attack.

Also when it was sealed by Hagoromo its body/husk became the gedo mazo. What was one of the first things Madara did once he summoned the Mazo? He fused it with Hashirama Senju's DNA.

Infusing the Gedo mazo with Hashis dna amplified not only the powers of the Gedo mazo but the white zetsu that were inside of it. Granting the white zetsu the ability to use mokuton.

That is the reason black zetsu couldnt use mokuton without being connected to a white zetsu. He never had any of hashis dna. While the whites were infused with it. (Not being racist).

Well yea if you want to be technical. She was the juubi in the end. She just never used it. Decided to use more destructive attacks.

Yea. Im pretty sure he was made by kaguyas will. Using the "creation of all things". Its a yin-yamg jutsu
