Pariston vs. Ging

I really think the showdown between the two will happen soon. But I can't help but to think maybe it wont because of the fondness they have for eachother. Though they say they dont like eachother, they definitely have a mutual respect. Togashi is fantastic at developing characters, honestly when those two are together it puts hunter on a whole new level imo.

I guess I am wondering if either 1) they fight or 2) they HAVE to help eachother on the dark continent. Who knows, maybe under paristons facade him and ging share the same goal, to discover the unknown.

Any thoughts or theories?

dying to see them fight but the second option is the most likely outcome. they'll be separated from the group and forced to survive together is what i think will happen

I don't think they'll have a showdown. I see their "relationship" as L's & Light's, they'll just play mind games and try to out-smart one another. It'll be a battle of minds, not strength. Pariston already knows that Ging is stronger & Ging already said that he can kick his ass but pariston would probably just laugh.

Honestly its hard to make predictions for HxH. I don't want to see them fight physically either. Their mental struggle is amazing imo

Tell me about it.. I finally caught up the other day so this is the first time I am truly feeling the effects of hiatus x hiatus.

Any word on when it will resume? Apparently he has "lower back problems" aka being lazy. I also cant wait for kurapika to merc the 4th Prince. F that guy lol

No idea, people are predicting it'll return in december or even as late as next year. xD No one knows for sure. It was such a tease as well because I'm not sure if you know this but one of the HxH editors came out and promised big things for the HxH manga. In fact, it was so big that he/she stated that it will make it to HxH's top 3 shocking moments... this was announced in July and the manga went on hiatus during August. Ging already said that he could whoop Parriston but knowing him, he'd probably just laugh and enjoy it. I don't think Parriston can fight to be honest. They'll be forced to work together.
