Where would Dosu be if he was still alive?

I think he would have left Orochimaru, and maybe Konoha would take him in under their wing and he would get along with the geniuses of Konoha. Dosu figured out Orochimaru was using him, and he was an intelligent independent man. If you need your memory refreshed:
