Looks: Buzz is the epitome of handsome. He is tall and muscular with a very strong jawline, almost too strong, but a jaw can never be too strong. He has chestnut brown hair that is kept short and swirls towards the front with several strands hanging down in a Superman-esque dangle. This hair is usually kept hidden beneath a tight fitting purple suit. His eyebrows are pronounced and capable of an impressive range of positions, allowing him to convey is emotions with eyebrow movement alone. They sit above sapphire blue eyes that can send flutters into the most stern of women. His beauty is capped off by a single hair on the tip of his chin that swirls around itself. His Mandalorian armor is primarily white with light green and purple used to decorate it. The clan symbol is painted on his left shoulder and his helmet is made of a transparent material. When deploying his jet pack wings will extend from his back, though the actual use of them can be debated. Some say their size, shape and weight make them incapable of flight, and that they only serve aesthetic value, though Buzz is adamant that his flight capabilities are unrivaled within the Mandalore Clan.

Personality: Buzz was at one time considered an exemplary soldier; someone who upheld justice with a strong sense of morality. This was eroded over time however and suffered a final defeat when a vile ninja with the title of Emperor Zurg defeated him and left him for dead. He was rescued by Shimura Danzo and was then put though a long period of rehabilitation where he was brainwashed to follow Danzo's Will of Darkness. While his demeanor is still the same as it was prior, his sense of morality has been heavily altered. The combination of a seemingly jovial and honorable man, with a complete lack of morality has created a somewhat unsettling personality. He also sometimes finds himself speaking various languages, most commonly Spanish, that he was unaware he knew of; some sort of side effect of his rehabilitation surely.

Background Info

History: Since he was a child Buzz had always been engrossed with the idea of space and with adventure. While the stars were well beyond the reach of people, the rest of the world was there to be explored. Buzz was raised well and developed a strong sense of honor, pride and morality. He ended up entering the Konoha ninja academy in order to protect the people he cared about. After rising through the ranks he was offered an interesting opportunity. A special division of Konoha ninja called the Rangers invited him to join their ranks. They worked throughout the ninja world trying to uphold peace and stability. The offer promised a plethora of travel and adventure while allowing Buzz to achieve his goals of protecting the innocent. It was a no-brainer in which Buzz joined immediately.

Over the next decade he traveled the world far and wide seeing everything he had dreamed of seeing since he was a child. On most missions he was paired with a fellow Ranger who went by the name Woody. They quickly became both good friends and rivals, working together while also pushing each other to become stronger. During this period a major threat began to grow in the world. In the ruins of Amegakure a man accumulated a vast amount of power, this man was named Emperor Zurg. Woody and Buzz worked tirelessly to eat away at his influence in the region. Slowly but surely they wore down his empire and moved to confront the Emperor himself in a final showdown. Sadly they walked into a deadly trap. Zurg defeated both of them, killing Woody and leaving Buzz a broken shell of himself. No longer viewing the Ranger as a significant threat Zurg left him for dead, but not before revealing that he was in fact Buzz's true father!

Buzz was saved by a local resident of Amegakure who he and Woody had become close with, a woman named Jessie. She nursed him back to health, but while his body had recovered his mind was too far gone. He moped around for months on end barely doing enough to keep himself alive. It wasn't Jessie who would pull him out of this pit, but the famed Shimura Danzo. Buzz had gained a reputation for strength while in the Rangers and Danzo was well aware of him. The elder had thought Buzz died along with Woody but discovered the truth during a mission in the Rain. He paid several visits to Buzz while chipping away at his fragile state of mind during each encounter. He molded Buzz's mind and brought him back from the edge, aiming the former Ranger towards the goal of avenging Woody by killing Zurg.

Slowly but surely Buzz resharpened his skills and even learned new ones from the locals, including Amegakure's secret rain style techniques from a woman named the Black Rose. He joined with a group of mercenaries called the Mandalorians and regained his battle experience and gaining access to their powerful clan armor. With his former ability returned and enhanced by new power Buzz hunted down Zurg, and killed him. It was the final step in Danzo's re-education of the former Ranger, completing the process of ingraining Buzz with the Will of Darkness. Danzo offered Buzz the chance to return to Konoha, not as a Ranger, but as a member of his Root organization. With a new found purpose Buzz accepted and returned to the Leaf where he now operates as an elite assassin from within the shadows.

Other

Elemental Affinities: Buzz's primary element is wind which he is a master of, capable of using its techniques with a single hand seal. His secondary element is water which he is skilled in, though not as much as with wind. He can use these techniques slightly faster than the average ninja. These affinities also made him a natural at the hidden rain style, which he enjoys using in battle.

Tools: The typical ninja tools such as shuriken, kunai, tags, smoke bombs, etc. are held within compartments throughout Buzz's armor. He carries various scrolls attached to his armor, specifically the waist, which he uses for different sealing techniques as well as the sealing formula for lightning blade creation wrapped around his wrists. Rather than having tattoos for his summoning contracts he has their symbols painted on his armor. The Jaguar symbol located on his left forearm and the Tanuki symbol on his right shoulder.

Will of Darkness: Having been taken in and re-educated by Danzo, Buzz adheres to the Will of Darkness philosophy. This belief has given him an edge when carrying out aggressive missions aimed at the ultimate benefit of Konoha.

Mandalorian Armor: As a member of the Mandalorian clan, Buzz is equipped with their traditional armor with minor customization to suit himself. The base color for the armor is white with green and purple covering various parts. Buzz wears two variations of this armor. The first, dubbed the "Space Ranger" is the more common of the two. The helmet portion of the Space Ranger is made of a transparent material that can extend and retract over the head using a simple mechanical release mechanism that can be triggered manually with a button. When the jet pack of the armor is used purple wings briefly sprout from the back, though they do not aid in actual flight. The second armor, called "Iron Buzz" is much more sleek and futuristic looking. It trades the transparent helmet for a tight fitting metallic one. Similar to how the transparent portion of the Space Ranger armor is retractable, the face portion of the Iron Buzz armor is retractable as well.
