Two questions about Naruto and Sasuke's "Friendship"

Naruto's bond has always been out in the open for everyone to see and hear.

Sasuke's thoughts are always hidden from the reader, but his actions have shown on several occasions that the the bond is not one-sided.
It's subtle, but it's there.

They forget how Sasuke risked his life to save Naruto's against Haku,How Sasuke called Naruto,and Sakura his precoius comrades during the Gaara fight,how Sasuke called Naruto his closest friend at the begining of their fight in the Final Valley,how Sasuke acknowledged their bonds as friends which awakened his third tomoe - etc.

When Sasuke stated in 694 that Naruto was the closest thing to a best friend he ever had it kind of surprised me. I would definitely call them rivals but I could not even call them friendly rivals like Guy and Kakashi. Guy and Kakashi are friends and rivals.

I can see how Naruto felt like he was a friend but not the other way around. Naruto has a lot of empathy so of course he felt drawn to Sasuke because they both lacked family and had no one to go home to after school and missions. Outside of the one time he got on Sakura's case for saying something rude about Naruto he never defended Naruto verbally to anyone else.

That time with Sakura did show he felt some empathy with Naruto, but most of the time it seemed to be on Naruto's part and not Sasuke's.
Personally, I felt most of the time Sasuke exhibited anger and jealousy of Naruto more than anything else. His jealousy of Naruto's power is what propelled him to seek out Orochimaru and leave Konoha. Instances during the manga when he became aware of Naruto's power he usually clenches his fist and looks angry. It even happens during the war a couple of times.

Him feeling like he wasn't getting as strong as he could in order to defeat itachi propelled him to leaving Konoha,Seeing how Naruto's progressed plus he recent run in with Itachi led him into going to orochimaru.

I've been rereading the story from the start this past week - i'm currently on chapter 65 and it's clear that Naruto and Sasuke are friends/comrades/teamates etc.Its like people forget this,and believe as of they weren't.Reread.

Kakashi is his sensei, Sakura is his would-be-tryhard lover. Neither of them are around friends status.

Anyone deserves to be anyone's friend.

Please stop try-harding with your "Sasuke is jesus" bullcrap that you put in almost all of your threads.

Sasuke cannot be called a god when his powers have limits and as far as friends with naruto, that's simple because naruto is talking about respect. He knew that if he wanted to accomplish what he wanted he had to beat the best which everybody knew from the leaf village that that was sasuke.

i have been rereading the story this past week - Reread part 1,Sasuke obvoiusly cared for his teamates - i saw that alot in the first 65 chapters.I'm now on 100,i already provided many examples that show that in my post ,and Sasuke "stopped" caring about his teamates once he left the Village,that was only because he wanted to sever his bonds so he could become stronger,that was how he was like from the end of part 1 to now - people act as if he was always like this when he wasn't.

God? that term is used so much since the past few chapters it has zero meaning given to any character in the Narutoverse since the past 4

Obito
Madara
Kaguya

Were all defeated and Sasuke is weaker then them so really the hype isn't real here I'm afraid.
