Did you guys enjoy it? I actually liked it but I thought it was strange how the game was like a whole new world yet he played it on a regular PC.

It was alright.

I found it to be somewhat of a combination between Sword Art Online and The Guild.

Though I still find it weird that as a mage he didn't cast a spell.

He most likely just isn't aware of his move set yet or hasn't unlocked any.

Even at level one you're still guaranteed at least one ability or spell related to your class.
