Does Naruto need a power-up to beat Sasuke.

I'm not downplaying naruto but he is simply weaker when he fights by himself. He has a special power of his own it's sage mode ofc but he fights with others to make himself/others stronger. It's not meant to downplay but his power is misrepresented because people make him out to be a solo artist like Indra. Sasukes power is for himself, Naruto power is meant to empower others. I want to see Naruto fight Sasuke by himself without talking to Kurama just for the simple fact he is the MC and this fight is suppose to be more personal.

Actually, they are equal. Thats how battle went:
1. Battle starts, they exchange some blows, neither can overpower the other one.
2. Sasuke receives massive boost (Bijuus chakra) and kicks Narutos ass a little.
3. Naruto receives massive boost (sh*tload of natural energy) and once again they exchange blows.

I dont see whats that difficult to understant. Kishimoto even said that they are meant to be equals and thats exaclty what manga shows, only fanboys from both sided knows better.

The fact both gained power from Sage, but Sasuke gains a power-up again..
Naruto created 4 KUrama avatar. 2 of them fused with the real Kurama , while the other Kurama avatar gathered natural energy and send it to Naruto. So if we consider this as power-up, than yeah does I think not need power-up.

But I think he needs an other power up. Not wood release, but the other biju chakra combine withe his avatar.

I disagree with you. Naruto deflected Sasuke fire ball jutsu with chakra arm, but as you can see : he used the rikudo senjutsu cloak.
He needs a bit more to beat Sasuke.

Okay so he was wearing the cloak, that doesnt change the fact that through the entire fight he only used BM techs.

Kishi doesn't want to end the fight so soon thats why Naruto just didn't use any of the bijuu techs like Steam Punch or TBBFRS.

Naruto's bijuu mode does look incomplete. Its not fully formed. The right side of Kurama's head looks like fire. I think that is a foreshadow of power up.

no naruto doesn't need another power up. kurama just collected enough natural energy that it was actually visible. while sasuke did just take bijuu chakra, it's all concentrated into his susano. what sasuke did is equivalent to what naruto did to get kcm. we all know the difference in power between kcm and BM. actually getting a huge boost in natural energy is probably better than getting bijuu chakra as natural energy is more powerful than mere chakra. although bijuu chakra isn't normal per say, natural energy is still more potent. so naruto doesn't need a power up, and i don't count the natural energy he got as a power up. it's more like he just is using more of what he already had at his disposal.

also, i don't believe the whole at the sages level thing. first off, the sage would have been much more proficient with his use of the rennigan as he had it his whole life. i think that kurama meant that the chakra he just put into susano was almost at the level of the sage. but since it's not even in his body, how can he be at the sages level?

did you not read exactly why i said that? kurama said what he said after sasuke gained the chakra from the bijuu. so it makes sense that he was reffering to the amount of chakra he got. the sage had his rennigan his whole life, thus knows all the secrets of it and how to use them effectively. sasuke has barely used more than 3 rennigan techs, so his mastery of the rennigan pales by comparison.

also i want to say, at no point in this fight has sasuke thrashed naruto. this is exactly what has happened in this fight. sasuke shoots fire ball jutsu, naruto blocks. sasuke teleports behind naruto and he either blocks the chidori or evades it(not really sure as it could be either way). sasuke uses susano arrows and naruto blocks them with tsb. naruto uses kurama mode to match PS. they echange a few blows and naruto breaks sasuke's susano sword. they then use a susano chidori and a bijuu dama in a clash. sasuke then absorbs the bijuu's chakra and naruto uses shadow clones. sasuke hits one of the shadow clones toward the ground. sasuke and naruto start to exchange blows. naruto fires 3 small bijuu dama at sasuke, which he blocks. the clone that had been hit to the ground has been gathering a tremendous amount of natural energy which he gives to naruto, who just combined his shadow clone together to make ashura's avatar made. then they throw out their jutsu at each other.

nowhere in that has sasuke thrashed naruto. naruto for the most part hasn't even tried anything more than blocking. even after sasuke put the bijuu chakra in his susano has he truly had the upper hand. if anything, this proves just how powerful naruto actually was.

I do not agree with you. The sage gave Naruto and Sasuke half of his power this the reason why we think, that they two are equal, but since Sasuke got new power up. How can they be equal?

So since naruto has proven to be too strong for sasuke with tailed beasts, sasuke is forced to use tailed beasts too, making sasuke slightly stronger again. Naruto now needs another asspull power up to match sasuke and he got it when kurama stored natural energy for him to use
