Shikamaru Part 1 and Part 2

I just re-read Part 1 and am re reading Part 2 and I noticed Shikamaru was one of the main characters in Part 1 not like the other Rookies but even more important but in Part 2 he got reduced to almost being a Fodder but he has now become one of my favourites

He arguably got the most development out of the K11 (Not counting Team 7 of course)
