Not really lol. You can be quite slow, and have superior reflexes to someone who is fast. Reflexes are about reaction time.

Also Reflex without speed isn't useless, just in the scenario you suggested.

It is. A speedstar can easily escape nuke blast, but a guy with only good reflex will die.

You cant compared minato to juubi jin. Because they have many ability to put down minato like precise sensing, reflect and strong attack plus they also a speedster in their own right.

I dont think hashirama and ems madara having a reflex like juubi jin and also precise sensing ability. Hashi maybe had a good sensing due to SM.

Yes speed alone mybe not enough if you dont having strong attack, but if you having both, speedster can become stronger than someone that relied only on strenght like hashi. Look at juubi jin, goku or any db char, superman, they have both quality

And yes ftg users, infront of stronger opponent like juubi jin is nothing because of flaw at ftg application like unable to maintain a speed for attacking movement. But if someone having a Flash like power wheres their speed is foot movement rather than dimensional shot cut, I said bye-bye Hashi or juubi jin and plus with speed force.

Because Minato doesn't have running/flight speed, his attacks don't have much momentum

The way Minato uses FTG to win against other characters is only possible in Naruto. If Minato used his teleportation so recklessly in OP or Bleachverse he wouldn't last very long against senior captains or admiral level characters who are expert in shunpo/soru

I see lots of people saying Minato is the fastest character in Naruto, so how come he can't beat Hashirama, as speed and reflex > everything else? It's because Minato is not the fastest character. If he was he would've beaten everybody

4th Raikage is a speedster alright, nothing too impressive. Gear 2 luffy from Enies lobby is faster than 4th raikage. Minato has very few shunshin feats in battle which put him at speedster level. Is there any video which shows how fast Minato is in battle using shunshin only? I don't remember tbh

We dont having any clear identification of his true foot speed, but maybe when he saving obito from kakashi, but still everyone there not talking about his speed like "wow! His foot speed is very fast, he arrive at obito before sasuke" or "Naruto said: wow father you are very fast" . But we dont getting that quote, and I assume maybe he is using FTG or plot device.
