"Don't underestimate Uzumaki" similar to how Sasuke told Naruto not to underestimate Uchiha during their fight with Obito.

Dude, I don't know what manga you've been reading, but Naruto always associates himself with his clan in damn near every battle he has fought. He also reps their symbol more than any other character in the series.

Some of you guys are really missing the point on this. Not having extensive knowledge about his clan hasn't stopped him from always letting his enemies know that he's Uzumaki Naruto. And it hasn't stopped him from wearing his clans symbol more blatantly than any other character in the series. Don't read into the why so much.
