The title says it all...are you telling me the "all great" sage of six path just gave a tyrant power even though he told the sage what he would do?....Like is the sage really that stupid? this whole time, he's been pulling strings together just to watch two opposing force clash. For fkin decades...Idk man naruto is just starting to annoy me and doesnt make much sense sometimes.

Basically sasuke is almost impossible to neutralize now because the sage fed him power ups regardless of him t elling the sage he would fk shit up...wtf...

Don't discuss about it, nothing make sense in the manga anymore because kishimoto became drunk 24/7

The sage is senile. Lel he watched for generations while his brat destroyed the world and caused so much trouble. Lel his fodder self couldn't even seal his kid away to prevent the cycle from repeating.

What he meant was that if he gave power to just one, the older would definitely rebel and choose darkness for good, but if he gave power to both sides of them, entrusting that it will all work out, that maybe Naruto would be able to turn sasuke's hatred into love/ a stronger bond of friendship

The SO6P made one mistake with His Sons and tried to rectify it with Naruto and Sasuke but He did not take into consideration The Curse of Kaguya and Black Zetsu that darken the Uchiha hearth from Indra to Sasuke. Result two mistakes intend of one.

He tried it the other way and seems to have decided, "WTF, let's see what happens if I do it this way this time."

He is floating through eternity apparently, so Kishimoto can bring him back to help Jiraiya Uzumaki in another 15 years.

It makes sense because he believes in Naruto.

He has seen how Naruto has changed Kurama, who was the embodiment of hatred.
Hagoromo has faith in Naruto.

The feud between the two brothers Indra and Ashura, wouldnt be solved if only Naruto would have been given power and Sasuke nothing. Therefore, Sasuke needed to be given power as well.

That doesn't make sense, just having Naruto talk to him would have been enough. Giving him power was not needed. What if he kills Naruto when he has his guard down?

I think kishi is trying to portray the sage as God in a way. He has made him aloof, passive, all-powerful. It makes the sage seem like he started this way of life but ultimately leaves it's fate up to those who live in this world. Kinda similiar to the whole 'God-free will' debate
