So, asuras are not exactly some people they are more like just bad beings and the three arm and face thing, even some gods and devas have that kind of appearence but they can make them disappear at will, also indra is the king of devas which are powerful counter asura beings that own and live in heaven, but yeah indra and asura are certainly borrowed from the hindu mythologies but given how he swapped places and considered indra a single being and asura a whole race of beings to name two people i doubt kishi is following the Hindu mythology that closly, So naeuto being from india seems less likely, it' mors based around the tale of bamboo cutter legand, but thats nust my opinion
