now i have a really strong opinion on why i prefer digital video games over owning physical copies and the first reason ofcrouse is the price. You on average digital games are cheaper to get because the only thing your paying is for the video game. your not paying for the case, for the blueray disk, or manual. or hell sometimes even that damn shipping. your just paying straight for a video game. and thats what i like about it.

Also sometimes if you do get lucky picking up a game at some shadey store like pawnshop where you might get it off for cheaper than a digital copy, there is a chance that there might be something wrong with it. either the disk is scratched or its busted.
Digital video games always gurantees you the top quality product. that you can play as much as you want!! literaly forever. while physical game might eventually break, or the disk will crack, i feel especially sorry for anyone who has xbox 360 slim which tends to scratch your games if you move it by accident or if it drops while in vertical position.

also physical games require alot of storage to store them, and if you don have and spare space to store your collection of halo, gears of wars, call of duty what are you going to do huh? buying them digitally lets you store them inside of your console, ofcourse the other problem of storage might be you hardware but to be honestly a 1t hard drive for under 50 bucks is going to give you more than enough space for all those games your planning to play even if you delete them you can still redownload them as much as you want.

Here is how you save money! imagine you have gta v or call of duty black ops 2, you bought them digitally, and your friends dont have those games! well what you can do is go to your friends house and enter sign in into your account on their PS3's them download that game and then sign out, they pretty much now have a dupped copy of the game they would have had to pay 60 bucks for for free, until they delete it.
explain how can physical disk duplicate itself like that? it cant.

i remember my friend got me a free BOGT dlc for gta 4 back when i didnt have it, we just split the money 50/50

im a huge believer in digital world, i love owning everything digital because its just the future of technology and the way to go ;)

I'm leaning towards digital myself. The price alongside the convenience is just all the more reason to give up on a physical copy, especially for the portable devices.

You like to support them in making money by selling you something you don't physically own, Like buying a video over the cd that has the video. It's stupid.

because i dont care physically owned stuff, their just an illusion what am i going to do sleep with my video game case? stare at it all day? brag about it all my friends? its all useless! its just an illusion what trully matters is what you see on your television or on your monitor.

same with why do people smoke, its because they care about the cigarettes they care about the cigarettes give them. that plesance and addiction is what they pay their money

I dont have a problem with digital games. As I agree with just about everything you mentioned. But I just like having that physical collection to show off. Unless theres greater incentive to buy it digitally, I almost exclusively buy it physically.

one thing i love about digital is you don't have to worry about losing the game , being scratched, or damaged

the only nagative is the space is takes up on the hardrive

Wich is why smoking is pointless and a waste of money. What matters is the feeling of ownership and knowing that your money was well spent and not given for free. And what if your console broke or something? You'd lose all your money and you would have to buy the games again.

lol your dumb, your games are account synced, it doesnt matter how many consoles breaks, you can always buy a new console, sign in into your account and re download the game back from the store for free.
