He wasn't better as a kid the developed at the same rate from training together. Plus before the really knew who they where madara and his brother where already heard of throughout hashirama's clan

Well Hashirama did have a huge drawback, his personality, he was a softy where as Madara was about the fight. So in essence he didn't have talent in the aspect of ruthlessness. Which in his time period seemed to be very important.

That's just the similarities between Naruto and Asura, there isn't a requirement to be their reincarnations.

I agree the transmigrant plot line seemed to appear out of nowhere.

If anything, it helps explain the intensity of the bonds between Hashi/Madara and Naruto/Sasuke, since they are inhabited by the spirits of the two brothers.

Yeah the transmugrant thing is weird I would like it better if like Sasuke heard of madara and followed his ways and that would explain why he is evil and not just because of fate
