Sasuke has really matured as a person and so has naruto. But when it come to long term change sasuke is the only one who has thought clearly about it. He is just blind to what is needed and that's naruto. For someone that most of you bash because of his attitude or personality, he is planning on doing something great. Their current world has destroyed his heart, it took away his family, friends, village and made him dedicate his life to killing his only sibling who truly loved, cared and protected him. Even so sasuke said that he is going to sacrifice himself for the world he hates.
Even through his sacrifice his way still won't work because he is blind to the fact that he's still continuing hatred, he thinks by directing it all towards him hatred will end when he passes but that's not true. Mere strategy without unification of wills is obsolete, meaning if naruto and sasuke won't work together both their plans for an better future will fail 100%
A true leader must see alone and know alone, meaning that he must see what others do not see and know what others do not know. Knowing what others do not know is called genius, seeing what others do not see is called brilliance. Brilliant geniuses win first by defending in a way that is unassailable and attacking in a way that is irresistible.
Sasuke knows what others do not simply becuase he knows the everything now. He knows the truth about the beginning of their world(so does naruto) and the true meaning of shinobi, but he also knows the knowledge of the previous kages the truth about the darkness of this world. So he knows exactly how to defend against the darkness.
Naruto see's what others do not (Hope) and his will is obviously irresistible because every one he encounters wants to join him in the end.(Except madz, kaguya and currently sasuke) So he knows exactly how to lead the people. But he can not defend what he does not know, witch is why sasuke is more important because he is needed to defend against the hatred that he understands clearly.
In order for a real revaluation sasuke and naruto have to work together. But sasuke's blind eye is what naruto needs to open in order for it to be successful. And revaluation is a must.
