I don't want Naruto to end as much as some of the other fans out there. I've been following the show since I was 12..
But I don't see it having another series spawn. And this is why.
Think for a second about the end of Pt 1
This isn't even close to all of them.
But if you think about the minute things we don't have answered at this point.
Yamato, spiral zetzu, a little more history about all the reincarnation stuff with indra etc..., Naruto's quest for hokage and how people will move on after the war.
This won't inspire the need for a whole series
Am i disappointed that the series basically needs to wrap up in the span of a few chapters and a movie? Yes.
With the 700 chapters they've created and all the character development that's happened, they could spend at least 15 chapters just tying up loose ends and showing where all the characters end up after the war. Who ends up doing what, who falls for who, who becomes what. It's disappointing that I feel Kishi is going to try and Jam it all in this last movie but I guess it is what it is. As long as it doesnt end like Sopranos I'll have faith that Kishi wants to end this titan of a manga the right way.

- We knew there was an orginazation out there hunting for Naruto, and the other tailed beasts.
- We ended with Naruto leaving for training with Jiraya and Sasuke was freshly rogue with Oro, whose plans we have yet to really get complete ellaboration on.
- We had dozens of characters that we haven't seen develop or fight on screen at full power, including most of the senseis and any of the village leaders or higher ups.
- We had a very minimal history about the Naruto verse as a whole, which we could have ended without, a lot of shows end without elaborating the history like pt 2 has explained.
- We had Naruto that hadn't developed much at all and had more tasks to fulfill than we could count on all our fingers and toes.
- We had sasuke's revenge against itachi that wasn't fulfilled.
- We had kakashi, who we had no background on who he was visiting at the grave or why he was always late to stuff.
- We had Naruto's family that hadn't been explained.
- There was Gaara's story and the fact he hasn't been fleshed out yet as a better person aside from the kimimaru fight.
- There was shikamaru's development as a chunnin that was needed after the failed mission.
This isn't even close to all of them.
