Yeah but Killer Bee isn't Pain. Fight is a lot harder than the fight with Bee.

OT: with Intel yes I think Minato could beat the six paths of pain. Unlike Naruto Minato is revered for being a very analytical fighter (being able to see a jutsu once and knowing how it works as well as finding the weakness)

Plus he is much faster than Naruto was at the time. If he has intel on Pain(not to mention he too has sage mode) I think he could take Pain very high difficulty.

Well he did practically die twice fighting Bee (would have been really dead if not for Karin and Juugo) and after all that he only managed to capture a tenticle. He may not have "lost" the battle in literal terms but he failed the mission.

he dont have physical strength. he dont have SM.

All 6 pains are connected so there is no way minato could land a blow on them.

It's a tricky match that relies on luck and the natural way in which the events would unfold. Pein is a bad matchup for Minato but the latter is battle-smart and strong in his own right.

Sasuke wasn't trying to kill bee, he was sent to capture him. Fight to the death Hachibi and Bee would of burn to death due to amaterasu.

Dude! The parts in bold are all over the place.

1) when has Pain abosrbed a Chibaku Tensei? Why would he? It's his own jutsu.
2)Minato does have sage mode just not perfect sage mode.
3) Minato has things Naruto or pain does not. Flying Thunder God? those teleport barriers to get rid of Chibaku Tensei.

Other notes of mention:

Shinra Tensei is not going to stop Minato when he can Hirashin out of its grip to somewhere else. If Minato can teleport a Juubi Bijuu dama as effortlessly as he did, why couldn't he do the same to Chibaku Tensei.
Summonings are counter by Frogs just like Naruto did. this is just to name a few. Not saying this is a guarnteed win for Minato but neither is it for Pain as well. He would be facing the Hokage after all.

Suigetsu said it himself. They had to fight with an intent to kill in order to just capture Bee. So yes They were fighting to kill. And he tried to burn Bee. Only got a tenticle. Even If sasuke continued to let it burn. it was still a tenticle.
