^^^ Just curious why kishimoto highlighted solely Hashirama's statue twice. Sooo just for thought.

Potential foreshadowing:

Naruto's defeat?

The Senju on top superiority nomore?

Hashirama's history to be erased?

What are your thoughts?

Probably because naruto was on that statue and right now sasuke is the aggressor so it would make sense that the fight is happening over there...

It's symbolism. The breaking of the system established by Hashirama and Madara, new generations replacing the old, possible hints to a change in the system I would say, so it may also be foreshadowing.

At least Hashirama has a statue unike Obito

ot: I wouldn't think too much of that. The Senju will always be on top Lol

Im guessing it isn't really symbolic. They are just fighting closer to Hashirama than Madara. That's probably why.

Just like you said. Destroying the statues would symbolize a new era and new system to come.
