Rate the Entire Naruto Manga

Hey guys, Naruto is definitely one of my favourite mangas and though the quality has declined over the last few years, it is still pretty good overall.

I want to know how you would rate the entire series (manga/anime whichever one you remember) using the following format and divisions in the series with a score out of 10:

Part1 Naruto-timeskip:
Post-timeskip-Hidan and Kakazu:
Jiraiya vs Pain-Itachi Pursuit-Naruto vs pain:
Five Kage Summit-Great Ninja war:
Ten Tails Revival- Infinite Tsukuyomi:

My ratings would be:

Part1 Naruto-timeskip: 9.9/10
Post-timeskip-Hidan and Kakazu: 9.0/10
Jiraiya vs Pain-Itachi Pursuit-Naruto vs pain: 10/10
Five Kage Summit-Great Ninja war: 8.7/10
Ten Tails Revival- Infinite Tsukuyomi: 7.5/10
Final Battle(so far): 8/10

I really felt that the three battles: Jiraiya vs. Pain, Itachi vs. Sasuke and Naruto vs. Pain was the peak of Naruto and was the best time to be a fan.

The Kaguya stuff was dry and IMO, Obito should have been the main villain and never turned good. At least, Sasuke is making things interesting now.

However, I will always love this series and I still think it is very good overall but Kishimoto wasted some of its potential.

Someone could have stopped reading/watching at the end of the Zabuza and Haku arc and would have thought that this was a great show/manga. That arc was completely self contained. 9/10

The Pain arc. Near perfection. The manga should have ended there with Naruto being praised by the village, Sakura hugging him, the "main" villain being defeated, and all that. Throw in a conclusion for Naruto and Sasuke and everyone's happy. But nope Kishi had to keep raking in that dough yo. 9.5/10

The rest of the series varies from about 4/10 to 8/10, so I'm giving it a 6/10 overall for diminishing quality over time

I don't think that would have worked as there were still many things left unknown; tobi's identity, Minato and Kushina's death, Orochimaru and Kabuto's plans, if Madara is Tobi as stated by Itachi, Kakashi's past...etc.

I think till the war, the show was really good but if I wrote the manga, I would have made Obito the final villain and have him kill Kakashi in the Kamui Dimension when they fought. Then I would have Obito betray Madara and the actually use Orochimaru to stir up the tension resulting in Naruto and the Four Hokages vs. Sasuke, Obito and Orochimaru. Then Orochimaru would take over a weakened Sasuke after his fight with Naruto....

I don't think that would have worked as there were still many things left unknown; tobi's identity, Minato and Kushina's death, Orochimaru and Kabuto's plans, if Madara is Tobi as stated by Itachi, Kakashi's past...etc.

I think till the war, the show was really good but if I wrote the manga, I would have made Obito the final villain and have him kill Kakashi in the Kamui Dimension when they fought. You could have had minato and kushina flashbacks during the part where naruto is about to die, instead of just having minato. Oro and kabuto were kinda ruined by the war arc. If the war arc had to be done at all, they could have just made a movie to wrap it up, just like they're doing now. We knew Obito blamed Kakashi for letting Rin die. Did we have to see Kakashi actually killing her? Did it add anything? Not particularly. We knew Kakashi blamed himself for Rin's death as well. It could have ended right after the Pain arc with a movie or something since they apparently love money

The manga is 2 short in my opinion. Kishi really rushed things after the Pain fight.

I think ending with the Pain Arc could have been great if Kishi changed a few things up (Not making Tobi "Madara", Keeping Itachi a villain etc) and then he could have just covered everything else before Pain invaded, The Oro/Kabuto stuff etc.

The edo hokages had sooooooo much potential. I can't believe this opportunity to really showed them off (not just thru fighting) was squandered
