I know that Naruto vs Sasuke battle would have ended within second ,if Sasuke had his sword.Sasuke would have used his grand fire ball jutsu as a distraction and give him frontal blitz with his sword ,either bisecting Naruto or cutting off his head.

I guess kishi just wanted the battle to last longer for entertaintment.I hope Kishi do not make Sasuke lose because there was many opportunity that Sasuke could defeat Naruto but he got nerfed for plot purposes

Expect Madara wasn't speed blitz since he seen Sasuke coming and even had time to comment but Kishi didn't want Madara killing Naruto and Sasuke so didn't let Madara use Susanoo (which he used blinded and with 1 eye pre-Juubi Jin), Deva path, weapon path, absorb ninjutsus, use wood jutsus such as wood clones, katon jutsus, plus his ability to use any element he wants.

Naruto already shown he can handle fighting swordmens which he did in base to Bee's students plus his chakra arms stopped swords when he saved Hinata in the war (it was a clone Naruto at that). You should be happy Kishi forgot KM Naruto blocked Madara's and Obito's katon jutsus which were stronger than Sasuke's katon just by increasing his chakra cloak which protected everyone in the alliance as well. Sasuke sword with ration wouldn't even cut through that defense when it took on the Juubi storm and protected over a thousand people as well.

Yeah. When Naruto was trying to escape the chidori blitz Sasuke could have warped the sword right behind Naruto's head, thus stabbing him in the brains.
