Only Sasuke can break Itachis tsukiyomi which he did with 3 tomoe. Now he defeated IT no problem.

Kisame was surprised that Kakashi was still conscious.

Okay so he didnt go unconscious right after he was hit. But he did go like 5 minutes after and stayed unconscious for like a week? dont see how that can be called resisting it tbh

It was supposed to put Kakashi out right away, but it did not, he resisted it's effects for like 5 minutes. That's the point.

Kakashi showed that it can be resisted; Sasuke showed that it can be broken.

if you say so

unable to do shit and after 5 minutes getting unconscious for a week = resisting tsukiyomi

I could say that a guy was supposed to die of cancer after 3 years but resisted it for 10, and you'd reply "Well he didn't really resist it if he died, did he?"

Go read a dictionary.

He managed to delay the unconsciousness yes but he was still affected by tsukiyomi which means he didn't resist tsukiyomi. Simple as that.

It could be considered as resisted successfully base on different definition. One thing doesn't change. Resist it or not, the victim is useless afterwards

He remained conscious, he did resist it. He didn't break it, he resisted it.

Depends on if they can break it, or to what level they can resist it.
