Itachi can use Izanami on Kaguya! He can use clones to distract her and record the events and use Izanami. Kaguya cant tell the difference between Itachi and his clones! She found out Naruto only because he had the Truth Seeking Balls while his clones didnt

So i think Itachi can use Izanami on Kaguya

Izanami only works if the victim doesn't accept who he/she is. Unless I'm missing something, Kagaya isn't messed up in the head like Kabuto haha. And even let's say it did magically work; it's a genjutsu that can easily be broken and at the cost of losing sight in one eye. It just doesn't seem practical to use.

How Izanami works:


The recording starts by having a shared physical experience between the user and the opponent.

Then to stop the recording and to start the loop, the user must re-create that shared physical experience.

That way, every time to loop ends it also begins again, an infinite loop.


Itachi explained that Izanami is an impractical jutsu that was not designed for battle.

Itachi would die trying to use Izanami.
