I've always liked Hinata even if she has done the Pokemon thing for most of Pt2.

I would say people like he because she isn't the Sakura style character. I don't hate Sakura but man.. the wild abusive tomboy types get a little old in anime/manga. Maybe its just my selection but its a staple that I see all to often

Any way I would also say its because she isn't boastful, she may travel across the land but not be concerned with being the best that there ever was...
